Business Services at Ka’u Federal Credit Union

Ka’u Federal Credit Union supports small businesses and farms in our field of membership. In 2001 a variety of new business loan programs became available. Some of the available business loans are:

• Micro-enterprise (business or farm).

• SBA Guaranteed Loans

All business members must have a Regular Share (savings) account on which dividends will be earned when the average daily balance exceeds $100. Share Draft (checking) accounts are available at a low monthly fee of only $10. This fee will be waived if one of the following exists:

• Minimum Average Daily Balance of $500 is maintained for the month in the Share Draft (checking) account.

• Minimum average daily balance maintained in the regular share account is $5,000.

Other Services:

• Referrals to qualified business consultants.
• Links to the Small Business Development Center for referrals and business research.
• Referrals to payroll processors to eliminate employer payday headaches.
• Direct Payroll deposit for employees.
